Lions, Bulldogs too much for ‘Cats

DORSET- The Twin Valley varsity softball team has been scrappy all season long.  On Friday, May 16, they played Long Trail School close for five innings but a rough sixth inning proved their undoing.  The host Mountain Lions rallied late to pick up the 18-5 win over the Wildcats.
Twin Valley trailed the Lions 10-2 after five innings.  A three-run top of the sixth put Twin Valley within striking distance, as they were only down 10-5.  But Long Trail had a big bottom of the sixth, plating eight runners to put the game away.
