WILMINGTON- The Twin Valley girls’ varsity soccer team took a heartbreaking loss Tuesday evening, dropping a 2-1 decision to West Rutland. The Wildcats led for the first 65 minutes of the match, only to see the visitors come back with two late-game goals to sneak out of town with the win.
Twin Valley dominated during the first half of the match, including a number of solid shots at scoring. Sadie Boyd, Kylie Reed, Jayden Crawford, and Brianna O’Hearn each had quality chances to score, but saw shots trickle wide of their mark or soar over the crossbar.
