ORFORD, NH- The Vermont high school basketball season officially got underway Friday evening, with games being played for the first time since March 2020. While teams had been allowed to hold practices, Friday was the first day state health officials allowed play between schools. While the day was cause for celebration by high school hoops fans, Twin Valley Middle High School’s first foray into the 2021 season was somewhat less than successful, as the girls’ varsity fell to Rivendell Academy in an away game, 47-40.
