Golf tournament helps local kids get warm coats

WILMINGTON - The Southern Vermont Board of Realtors held their annual golf tournament at the Haystack Golf Course on Friday, June 17. SVBR donated the proceeds from the tournament to the United Way Kids in Coats program. According to Ruben Garza, executive director of the United Way of Windham County, 100% of the funds will go directly to supplying warm clothes and gear to children this year.
