Free gelding clinic for horses

WEST  TOWNSHHEND- Gerda’s Equine Rescue is hosting a free gelding clinic and discount dental clinic this fall. Both clinics are open to all horse owners who might not otherwise be able to afford the procedure.
The free gelding clinic will take place on Saturday, September 28. Gelding includes sedation, procedure, pain medication, and penicillin injection
VT/NH Veterinary Clinic and Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University students and veterinarians have all graciously volunteered their time and expertise to perform the gelding. Preregistration is required.
The discount dental clinic will take place on Friday, October 11, and Saturday, October 12. There will be a $50 discount on power dental floats and full examination. The average float costs approximately $100 after the discount has been applied. Upper Valley Equine Services LLC’s Kristen Clapp will be performing the dental work.  This clinic is open to all horse owners. Preregistration is required.
