Eagles bump Wildcats in first round

ARLINGTON- The Twin Valley Wildcats were on a bit of a roll, winning their last two games of the regular season. That modest streak, their only wins of the season, nudged them up to 13th place in the Vermont Principals’ Association Division 4 rankings and earned them a first-round playoff game with the third-seed Arlington Eagles Wednesday evening. Unlike the boys’ playoff game a week earlier where 12th- ranked Arlington upset fifth-ranked Twin Valley, the pairings proved correct and the Eagles took care of business by beating the Wildcats 43-22.
