Dover gymnasts making their mark
DOVER- Four young Dover athletes turned in strong performances at the New England Invitational gymnastics meet in Glastonbury, CT, on December 13 to 15.
Aleah Reed placed first overall in the Xcel Silver Senior B category and Joelle Boland placed seventh overall in the Senior A Division. Meanwhile, 5-year-olds Emery Salway and Bennett Rich, competing in their first ever meet, placed fourth and fifth overall, respectively.
Danielle Salway, Emery’s mother, said that Emery and Bennett were the youngest athletes to compete in the meet that weekend.
