Despite loss, Wildcats season a win
MARSHFIELD- The Twin Valley girls’ varsity basketball team just completed its most successful season in years, finishing with seven wins (7-13) and earning the ninth seed in the Vermont Principals’ Association Division 4 tournament. That earned the Wildcats a trip to Twinfield High School on Tuesday to take on the eighth-ranked Twinfield/Cabot Trojans. That turned out to be a tough road trip and a difficult loss, as the hosts took advantage of a depleted Twin Valley team for a 54-23 win.
