Despite loss in final, Wildcats exceeded expectations

MANCHESTER- The Twin Valley Wildcats were denied their quest for a perfect season Saturday afternoon, November 4, as the Winooski Spartans held on for a 1-0 win in the D4 state championship match.  It was a hard fought match between defending champion Winooski and Twin Valley.
The Wildcats came into the match with a 16-0 record and were hoping to close the book on a dream season. But the Spartans showed their championship mettle, scoring the only goal of the match while holding the record-setting Wildcat offense scoreless.
