Spring wildflower walk takes place this weekend

TOWNSHEND- The early spring wildflowers are blooming! It’s time for the West Townshend Country Store’s annual spring wildflower walk. Organizers would like to go out Saturday, April 22, at 2:30 pm, with Sunday as a rain date.
They are considering a hike into the Tannery Brook Ravine in West Townshend, but woud consider venturing to a new spot. There are some beautiful wildflowers on a trail in Athens, a bit more of a drive, but an easier hike. Maybe other folks have ideas of where to go.
