RVUSD split over whom to focus on with focus

DOVER - At its meeting on Monday, the River Valleys Unified Union School District Board asked Windham Central Supervisory Union superintendent Bill Anton to do further research into the possibility of giving Wardsboro Elementary a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) or STEAM ((science, technology, engineering, art, and math) focus. During discussion of the matter, two board members found themselves at odds over who should be primarily considered throughout upcoming decision-making: Wardsboro’s students, or the students of the district as a whole.
