Police identify homicide victim found in Searsburg
SEARSBURG- Police have identified the remains of a woman found a year ago in a gravel pit and the chief medical examiner has ruled her death a homicide.
Police say they identified the victim as Jessica “Red” Hildenbrandt, 43, of Ballston Spa, NY, through DNA analysis and extensive investigative work. Police say Hildenbrandt spent considerable time in Vermont, especially in and around Bennington. Her last contact with her family was in July 2019.
