Police recommend locking car doors
WILMINGTON- Wilmington Police Department is warning community members to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and not to leave firearms unsecured in vehicles.  Communities surrounding Wilmington have experienced a recent string of larcenies from unlocked vehicles, most occurring in the late evening or early morning hours, from vehicles parked in residential driveways.  Police are asking anyone who sees something suspicious or may have information to call Wilmington police at (802) 464-8593.  Call 911 if it is an emergency.
