Driver hit sign before driving off the road
WILMINGTON- Police responded to a report of a crash on Route 100 near Cross Country Circle at about 9:30 am on Tuesday, August 4. Police say their investigation revealed that the driver was traveling north on Route 100, left their lane of travel, and crashed into a highway sign before driving off the road and into a field. The driver was issued a civil violation complaint for failure to maintain their lane of travel, and the 2011 Chevy Tahoe was towed from the scene.
