Police investigating Halifax death
HALIFAX- Police were notified of a body, later identified as Matthew Goodnow, 41, of Halifax, located at the Whitneyville Cemetery at about 9:42 am on Tuesday, July 30.  Deerfield Valley Rescue also responded and confirmed that Goodnow was dead.  The Vermont Chief Medical Examiner’s office responded and assisted at the scene. Goodnow’s body was transported to the office of the chief medical examiner in Burlington for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death. At this time, Goodnow’s death is not suspicious.
