Officers charged for unjustified use of force in Newfane officer-involved shooting
MONTPELIER– The Vermont Attorney General’s Office announced that Sgt. Ryan Wood, 36, and Trooper Zachary Trocki, 29, were arraigned for reckless endangerment in Windham Superior Court on Tuesday, May 30. The charges are the result of Attorney General Charity Clark’s independent review of an officer-involved shooting incident that occurred on June 17, 2022, at approximately 2:38 am in Newfane.
