Listening forums give outlet
VERMONT- The Vermont Center for Crime Victim Services is hosting a series of listening forums around Vermont this fall to give victims and survivors of crime, including business owners and family members, a chance to speak out about their experiences in the criminal justice system. Whatever the experience, positive or negative, the crime victim services wants to hear from the community. Local stakeholders and service providers will be on hand to listen and provide support.
CCVS will be at Brattleboro Union High School on Monday, October 15, from 6 to 7:30 pm, and encourage anyone who would like to share their story to attend. For those who may be shy about sharing their story in public, Vermonters can also participate by sending stories and comments to victimfeedback@ccvs.vermont.gov.
