Stephan Lee Towne

HALIFAX - Stephan Lee Towne, 69, of West Halifax, died at his home on Friday, November 25.
Steve was born on January 12, 1953, son of Richard W. Towne Sr. and Eunice L. (Chapman) Towne. He graduated from California State University with honors and earned his bachelor of arts in business and computer science. Steve worked in Phoenix in laser printing and eventually opened his own successful business with a focus on data processing.
What Steve enjoyed most was the solitude of the outdoors. His interests were camping and fishing as well as photography, target shooting, and boating. He loved his dog Didi.  He was loved by his friends and family.
Steve is survived by his father Richard W. Towne Sr. and wife Charleen Towne, his brother Richard W. Towne Jr. and wife Carolyn A. Towne, sister Stacy J. (Towne) Ciha, along with niece Danielle Ciha Marcum.
At the request of the family no service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers donations in Stephan’s name may be made to your favorite charity; he would like that.
