She lived to have two huge milestones in her life which were celebrating her 70th wedding anniversary on April 6, 2017 before her husband died, and celebrating her 91st birthday on August 22.
Her enjoyments in life were sewing, cake decorating, reading, and a love for cooking, which she did right up until she lost her sight and could no longer do them. She enjoyed visits with her family and friends the most.
There will be a graveside service on Sunday, October 21, at 2 pm, at the Sadawga Cemetery in Whitingham, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, son, and daughter.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Whitingham Fire Department and Deerfield Valley Rescue. Both were wonderful to her when needed. Friends and family are invited to gather for refreshments at the home of Denise and Allan, 243 Goodnow Road in Whitingham following the service.
