Ronald Tower

READSBORO - Ronald Tower, 55, died Saturday, January 29, at his home. Ronald was born in Bennington on February 27, 1966, the son of Kenneth and Mary Carruth Tower. He attended elementary school in Monroe Bridge, MA, and graduated from McCann Technical School in North Adams, MA.
In his earlier years Ronald worked as a crane operator for Unistress and then as a machinist for GS Precision in Brattleboro for 20 years. He was a member of the Army National Guard and the American Legion Post 29 in Readsboro. He was a member of the South Readsboro Community Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing, pitching horseshoes, any kind of outdoor activity, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his brother George Tower, of Readsboro; companion Toni Price, of Whitingham; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister Karen Lescarbeau, in 2010.
A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held and announced in the spring. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be in Sadawga Cemetery in Whitingham.
