WHITINGHAM- Peter Fitzgerald Hopwood was born April 15, 1943 in Connecticut. He served in the Navy and was a Southern New England Telephone lineman. He enjoyed driving his “Yankee Blue” Corvette and gardening. 
A gentleman and good neighbor, Peter died January 28. With his beloved wife Lauren, he cherished Vermont. He is loved and remembered by his children, stepchildren, grandchildren and other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers contributions to a Community Cares fund in Peter’s name will be appreciated.
