WRENTHAM, MA- Nellie (Kienoski) Domina, 101, died peacefully at the Pond Home on Sunday, January 6. Born in Northbridge, MA, on May 29, 1917, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Pesta) Kienoski.
Mrs. Domina married her beloved husband, E. Curtis Domina, on October 1, 1938 in Pawtucket, RI. They made their home together in Seekonk, where Mrs. Domina raised her family. As her three children grew up, she took a position with the town of Seekonk, serving as the school lunch supervisor. She retired in 1980 after more than 20 years of dedicated service to the students of Seekonk. Upon her retirement, Mr. and Mrs. Domina moved to East Dover. For the past nine years, Mrs. Domina has resided at the Pond Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband E. Curtis Domina, and sisters Bessie Bovino, Mary Buzinski, Stella Tweedly, and Emelia McGuy, and brother Henry Kienoski.
Mrs. Domina is survived by her daughter Lynne D. Wassel and her husband William, of Bridgton, ME; sons Brian C. Domina and his wife Karen, of Keanu, HI, and Bradford R. Domina and his wife Maura, of East Dover, VT; grandchildren Scott Wassel, Derek Wassel, Matthew Wassel, Jodie Domina Marvik, Kevin Domina, and Gregory Domina, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 1 pm, at the Union Congregational Church, 55 Rhoades Avenue, East Walpole.
