Marlene Ann Plumb

BENNINGTON- Marlene Ann Plumb, 79, of Heartwellville, died Sunday, April 29. She was born in North Adams, MA, September 10, 1938, daughter of the late Woodrow and Barbara (Davis) Boillat.
Mrs. Plumb owned and operated the Heartwellville Liquor Store and the Stamford General Store, and retired from Nastech in Bennington.  Her passions in life were bird watching, gardening, knitting, and baking, and she especially enjoyed making cherry pies for her son-in-law Don.
Mrs. Plumb was preceded in death by husband Sanford Plumb, an infant daughter,  and sister Lila Greenlaw, of North Adams, MA.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Crowe and husband Donald, of Lyman, NH, and Sarah Millard and companion John Alexander, of Burnt Hills, NY;  grandchildren Kristen Desrosiers and husband Jeffrey, with great-grandchildren Zane, Landon, and Maelynn,  of Adams, NY, Blake Spooner and wife Crystal, with great-grandchildren Cameron and Seth, of Edgewood, NM, Laura Millard and companion Steve Balgobin with great-grandchildren Roman and Zinnia, of Clifton Park, NY, David Millard and  wife Alyssa with great-grandchild Grant, of Mechanicsville, NY,  Gabrielle Millard with great-grandchild Ezequiel, of Saratoga, NY, and Ashley Millard, of Saratoga, NY;  brother, Woody Boillat and wife Gwen, of North Adams, MA;  sister, Shirley Llano, of Truth or Consequences, NM;  sisters-in-law Marilyn O’Nell, of Dennisport, MA, and Marie Plumb, of Walnut Creek, CA; niece and friend Terry Clark and husband William, of Williamstown, MA;  dear friends  Connie Manuel, of Keystone Heights, FL, Mary Crosby, of Danby, and Susan Kinne and husband Joel, of Cornish Flats, NH; and many other relatives and friends.
At Mrs. Plumb’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
