Laurie Linley

DOVER- Laurie Hart Linley died of complications from a rare, untreatable kidney cancer, chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, after being diagnosed in the spring of 2020. Laurie was born in Bridgeport, CT, and lived most of her life in Vermont. She worked at Mount Snow ski area and in restaurants around the valley. Laurie also spent many years working as a knowledgeable and talented gardener.
She is survived by a brother, Joseph Linley, and her nephews and nieces of Connecticut  and New York City. Laurie also leaves behind many wonderful friends. She wishes to thank everyone who helped her do it her way these past few years, including Dr. Timothy Shafer, his staff, and everyone at Grace Cottage Hospital. Many blessings to her friends.
Mass of remembrance will be held at Our Lady of Fatima in Wilmington on Saturday, November 20, at noon. Burial will be private. Contributions in Laurie’s memory may be made to Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend.
