Joyce Dlubac

WARDSBORO - Joyce Irene Dlubac, 89, died Wednesday, November 3, surrounded by her family.
Joyce grew up in Bridgeport, CT, with her mother Irene Reichardt; father Richard Reichardt; brothers Richie, Happy, and Chuck; and sister Gay.
Joyce loved to hunt, attend auctions, drive around Vermont’s backroads, and just be around people. Her presence was always a joy, and people could converse with her for hours. Joyce had many friends that she considered her family, and many of the Wardsboro town kids loved going to her house with her grandkids. They always enjoyed a big hearty meal. No one ever left hungry. Joyce loved attending all the events in Wardsboro, and would always volunteer if she could. She will be so greatly missed; she is very loved by so many.
Joyce was survived by her 11 children:  sons Harry and his wife Ruth, Billy and partner Maryanne, Paul and his wife Trisha, Jerry, and Richard; daughters Jody and her husband Bruce, Dolly, Darleene, Paula, Heidi, and Bonnie. She had many nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren, and grandchildren Natalia, and her children Marleigh and Abel, Kristen and Michael and his partner Amanda, Lucas and Tyler Dlubac, and Samantha always held a special place in Joyce’s heart. She raised most of them as her own children.
The family will be holding a celebration of life for Joyce at her home in Wardsboro, Sunday, November 14, from 2 to 4 pm.
