Mrs. Boyd grew up in Wilmington where she graduated from Wilmington High School. She married Ernest Boyd in Wilmington on September 23, 1950. He died on September 26, 1988. Her granddaughter Susan would like to say that she was a wonderful woman with great strengths, a cheerful spirit, and a kind, loving heart. The love and care that she gave to her family will be cherished forever.
Graveside services will be held at the family lot in Riverview Cemetery in the spring and will be announced at that time.
