Harvey Schneider

CLIFTON, NJ-  Harvey I. Schneider, 89,  died peacefully on March 17.
He was born in New York on November 17, 1933, to Dan and Victoria Schneider. He is survived by Sandi (Selbst), his wife of 67 years; daughters Rebecca and Jennifer (Ron) Weiss; and beloved grandchildren Eliza and Jordana Weiss. He was preceded in death by his son Mark but remained a proud father-in-law to Kathie and Michael Gordon.
He was a proud Penn Stater, class of 1955, and a graduate of NYU School of Law in 1958. He practiced trusts and estates law, in a bow tie, for over 60 years. He treated his clients like family and they loved him back.
He was an avid skier and known by many as the mayor of Mount Snow in Vermont. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed many years at Inwood Country Club.
He will be missed by many. A service was held at Plaza Jewish Community Chapel on Monday, March 20. The interment immediately followed at King Solomon Cemetery.
