Gloria Moore

WARDSBORO- Gloria Moore (nee Webber), 92, a long-time resident of Wardsboro, died on May 24.
Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her husband Roland (Lanny) Moore in 1999 as well as her three children Roger, Valerie, and Roland, who died in childhood.
In 1999 Mr. and Mrs. Moore moved to Corpus Christi, TX. Mrs. Moore owned and operated Gloria Moore Realty in Wardsboro from 1977 until 1999. Her distinctive robin’s egg blue signs were seen throughout Wardsboro. She was also the town of Wardsboro appraiser for a number of years.
Mrs. Moore loved her wide circle of friends and when not in the garden or tending to her chickens and sheep, she hosted some lovely parties at their home on Route 100.
