She dedicated her life to protecting and preserving the purebred dog breed, the Keeshond.  She had over 25 champions under the Darcroft Kennel name and enjoyed showing and breeding her dogs.   She was a great ambassador for the breed for over 40 years.  She trained her Keeshonden as therapy dogs, visiting nursing homes on a regular basis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lutheria Meadowcroft, and her brother, Robert Meadowcroft. She leaves several cousins and many devoted friends.
