Dana Anderson

SOUTHBURY, CT- Dana A. Anderson, 89, died on January 1 at the Watermark. A lifelong Milford resident until he moved to Southbury in 2016, he was born on March 21, 1929, to the late J. Allen and Edna Bennett Anderson. Before retiring, he was a self-employed carpenter and could fix most anything. Mr. Andersron will be remembered as an avid golfer, who loved relaxing in his summer home in Vermont and working at the Mount Snow Golf Club across the street. He also enjoyed building model airplanes and hunting.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his loving wife Norma Buck Anderson; daughter Linda Kohler and her husband James, of Southbury; sons Scott Anderson and his wife Lucy, of Milford; Gary Anderson, of Wallingford, and Eric Anderson and his wife Barbara, of Milford;  grandchildren Melissa Kohler, Ellen Passmore and her husband Derek, Robert Kohler, Arin Fuller, Christine Rindos and her husband Justin, and Michelle Cantor; and great-grandchildren Alex, Matty, and Layla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Anderson; and sister Lois Linne. Funeral services and interment were held in Milford.
