Arlene McDonald

MIDDLETOWN, NY - Arlene Maryann McDonald, 75, former resident of Wilmington, VT, died Friday, February 18, at Albany Medical Center.
Arlene was born in Queens on May 3, 1946, the daughter of the late Felix and Tessie Grudzinski, and attended local schools. Arlene and her husband Robert lived in Nesconset for many years, moving to Wilmington, VT, after the birth of their first grandchild Jack, living at Haystack Highlands for seven years. They then moved to Hilton Head, SC, where they had many friends, and then finally to Middletown to be closer to her sister Lois.
Arlene loved her home. She enjoyed cleaning, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Arlene is survived by her husband of 52 years Robert McDonald, of Middletown, whom she married June 7, 1969; her children Kerry McDonald Cady and her husband Christopher, and Sean McDonald and his wife Nicole; her sister Lois Edmonds and her husband Robert; grandchildren Jack and Mary Cady; and nephews and nieces Bobby Edmonds, Patrice DiCarlo, and Bryan Edmonds.
A Mass of Christian death and burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 26, at 11 am at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, VT. Interment will be in the spring in Riverview Cemetery. There will be  no visiting hours.
