Wilmington to conduct groundwater study east of village

WILMINGTON - During their meeting on Tuesday, May 7, the Wilmington Selectboard approved a groundwater availability study and a conveyance of land parcels to the highest bidder at a public auction.
Road superintendent Marshall Dix recommended a bid from Zaluzny Excavating Corporation at $32.45 per cubic yard for gravel and $31.45 per cubic yard for ditch stone. The gravel and stone will be delivered to the town garage starting July 2024 through June 2025. Board chair Tom Fitzgerald made a motion and the bid was approved.
