Whitingham resident deployed to assist flood recovery

BARRE- Whitingham resident Joanne Bourbeau recently deployed to central Vermont to help provide shelter for pets of Vermonters who were forced from their homes due to recent floods.  
Bourbeau is the Northeast Regional Director of the Humane Society of the United States.  But she also serves as the chair of the nonprofit Vermont Disaster Animal Relief Team board of directors, and chairs the executive board of the local Windham County Disaster Animal Relief Team.
