Weekend structure fire in Dover results in loss of second home

WEST DOVER - Fire led to a total loss of a house on Johnson Hill Road on Saturday. The house, which was a second home, was unoccupied at the time. The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation. 
Fire Chief Rich Werner said he was in Wilmington when a call about the fire came in midmorning on Saturday. 
“I could see it coming up from Wilmington,” said Werner. “You could see the black smoke.”
