Weekend events go missing, support still needed
WILMINGTON - Ordinarily, Wilmington is filled with festivities on Memorial Day weekend, including the appearance of the Morris dancers, the storied Great Duck Race, and a parade down Main Street. In comparison, this year relative quiet will blanket the town.
Most everything has been canceled due to social distancing requirements in relation to COVID-19. However, those who want to can still support the causes funded by several Memorial Day activities.
