Watershed property owners have resources

WILMINGTON - On Thursday, November 8, attendees of a meeting in Memorial Hall heard from representatives from the Connecticut River Conservancy, the Deerfield River Watershed Association, and the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources Department of Environmental Conservation, who talked about resources that are available to landowners with property within watershed areas. Updates were also provided about ongoing E. coli testing in Beaver Brook, which last summer had E. coli levels that were higher than desirable for recreational use.
