Voters scrutinize Twin Valley plans

WILMINGTON- Twin Valley School Board members met with the public by Google Meet Tuesday evening for an informational meeting on their fiscal 2022 budget to be voted by Australian ballot on Tuesday, March 2.
Board member Janna Ewart led the board’s budget presentation with a recap of the board’s efforts this year to avoid paying a penalty for spending above Act 68’s per-pupil spending threshold, also known as the “penalty box.”
“In June 2019 we formed the financial sustainability committee to come up with a plan to get out of the penalty box,” Ewart said.
