Voters to have final say of school district board makeup

RVUSD board chair Rich Werner explains proposed changes to the district's articles of agreement at Tuesday evening's meeting.

DOVER- On Monday, February 27, voters in Wardsboro and Dover will vote by Australian ballot on a proposed change in the way the two towns are represented on the River Valleys Unified School District Board.
The board presented the proposed change to their articles of agreement at an informational meeting at Dover School Tuesday.  RVUSD chair Richard Werner said that Article 9 of the district’s 2016 articles of agreement, which governs how the towns are represented on the board, called for proportional representation, using the most recent federal census.
