Voter seeks overturn of retail cannabis approval
Article 20, asking voters to authorize cannabis retailers in town, passed 173 to 85 in a vote by Australian ballot on Town Meeting day.
WILMINGTON - On Tuesday, March 1, voters in Wilmington approved Article 20 on this year’s Town Meeting warning, and by doing so approved the ability of cannabis retailers to operate in town. Now, Charlotte Verry is in the process of gathering signatures on a petition to reconsider the article. She has until the end of the month to gain enough signatures.
