Vermont towns to provide own dispatching services, burden falls on taxpayers

DOVER- With the state slated to end dispatching services for local police departments as soon as 2023, selectboard members discussed a proposal for a regional dispatch center.  The board agreed to support a grant that, if the plan is eventually adopted, would help pay for equipment.
