Valley communities saw record voter turnout for Election Day

DEERFIELD VALLEY- In a year that has been called “unprecedented” too many times, it may come as no surprise that most valley towns are reporting record turnout on Election Day.
But it may come as a surprise to learn that the numbers aren’t quite as unprecedented as may have been expected.  Although most towns in the valley - all but one - did report higher turnout this year than in the 2016 general election, for most of the towns, the turnout wasn’t significantly higher.
