Two towns were added to communication district

DEERFIELD VALLEY - At a July 1 meeting of the Deerfield Valley Communications Union District, the governing board opted to join into an “interlocal agreement” with other CUDs. On July 15, the board empowered chair Ann Manwaring to apply for state funding on behalf of the DVCUD. And the DVCUD continues to grow. Its July 15 meeting brought another two towns into the fold, making the total towns now a part of the DVCUD 15.
