Twin Valley surplus falls just short of $1 million

WHITINGHAM- At their regular meeting Tuesday evening, Twin Valley School Board members discussed a 2021 end-of-year fund balance that, according to the latest figures, is projected at just under $1 million. 
Windham Southwest Supervisory Union Business Manager Karen Atwood said the current projection, using budget figures ending May 31, points to a $972,698 end-of-year budget surplus.  According to a financial summary provided by Atwood, the surplus includes $134,562 in unanticipated revenue, as well as $834,135 that was budgeted but not spent.
