Twin Valley rally for climate action
WHITINGHAM - A little after noon on Friday, September 20, Twin Valley Middle High School sophomore Catherine Thomas sat in a conference room next to the school principal’s office with dozens of signs spread out on the table in front of her. The signs all related to climate change. Catherine had made them with a few friends:
“The climate is changing, why aren’t we?”
“When leaders act like kids, the kids become leaders — and we won’t mess it up.”
“The world is on f*cking fire,” a quote attributed to “Bill F*cking Nye.”
