Twin Valley drops below income threshold for universal free meals

WHITINGHAM- Every student at Twin Valley schools will have the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch for free under a US Department of Agriculture program for schools that serve low income areas.
Twin Valley School Board members unanimously approved the district’s enrollment in the USDA’s Community Eligibility Provision, or CEP, at their meeting on Tuesday evening.  “CEP means universal free meals for all of our students,” said Windham Southwest Supervisory Union Food Service Director Lonny Paige.
