Town to seek grant to help curb substance abuse

WILMINGTON - On Tuesday, the Wilmington Selectboard discussed the budgets and progress of several projects happening throughout the town.
Police Chief Matthew Murano and fire Chief Scott Moore requested approval to begin purchasing items for the new public safety facility. These items were all included in the initial budget planned for the building, but as prices continue to go up, the chiefs are hoping to make the purchases sooner rather than later. “These are soft costs,” explained Moore.
