WILMINGTON - The town has received a $1 million grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission for its sewer extension project.
The award was part of the NBRC’s new “Catalyst Program,” which is “designed to stimulate economic growth and inspire partnerships that improve rural economic vitality across the four-state NBRC region.” The region includes “the most distressed counties” of New Hampshire, New York, Maine, and Vermont. In Vermont, all of the state’s counties are considered part of the district.
