Town looks at solutions following fatal accident
The site of a fatal crash in East Dover two weeks ago. The driver of a well-drilling truck was killed on the sharp corner when the brakes failed near the top of Dover Hill.
DOVER- Highway department matters topped discussions at the Dover Selectboard’s regular meeting Tuesday evening.
The board addressed safety concerns regarding a sharp curve at the bottom of the eastern side of Dover Hill. Two weeks earlier, the driver of a well-drilling truck was killed when the brakes on his truck failed, and the truck went over an embankment on the curve at high speed.
