Town appoints ethics liaison, grants commission town forest control

DOVER- Selectboard members allocated federal funds, appointed a liaison to the Vermont Ethics Commission, and gave the town’s conservation commission free rein to manage town forest maintenance.
Economic development director Eric Durocher proposed a plan to set aside funding for expenses for the new water system at Dover Town Common.  Durocher explained that the town couldn’t allocate federal American Recovery Plan Act funding for the water system because, at this time, there aren’t contracts in place for the work.  The funds must be obligated by December 31.
