Tech issues hamper online participation

DOVER - During its hybrid meeting on Tuesday, October 20, the Dover Selectboard experienced connection issues that at times prevented members of the public who joined remotely from participating, being heard or hearing the board conducting business. Despite intermittent concerns expressed about the appropriateness or legality of the meeting, it proceeded. The challenge comes at a time when the board is preparing to make a decision about how to handle Town Meeting amid an ongoing pandemic that state modeling shows is growing in regional intensity.
